Kind of exchange

Everyone draws a name and buys for that person.

How a remote exchange works

  • Create the exchange and share the join link in your group chat or team channel.
  • Everyone adds a wishlist. Ask people to include a note on where gifts can be sent, or whether a digital gift is fine.
  • Draw names. Each person sees their match and that person's wishlist on their private link.
  • Ship gifts or send digital ones, then open them together on a video call.

Shipping without sharing addresses with everyone

Many online stores let you send a gift to someone using only their email or phone number, and the store asks the recipient for the address. Otherwise, the organizer can collect addresses privately and pass each one only to the person who needs it.

Set the gift day with shipping time in mind. Ten days of slack is safe for most domestic orders in December.
