Kris Kringle or Secret Santa?
In Australia, New Zealand and Ireland the office or family gift draw is often called Kris Kringle. In the US and UK it's usually Secret Santa. The name comes from Christkindl, the German "Christ child" who brings gifts in parts of Europe. The rules are the same: everyone draws one name in secret and buys that person a gift.
